Avi developed the ‘Take a Holiday From VAT’ campaign aiming to cut VAT on the price of holiday COVID tests and highlight the cowboy testing operators ripping off consumers.
Avi led the creation of Prenetics’ new COVID testing infrastructure across the UK from the start of the pandemic in early 2020, helping businesses return to work, allowing major sports to resume and making overseas travel possible using reliable gold standard tests.
Hosted at the prestigious London Science Museum, CircleDNA was launched in late 2019 to a selection of media representatives, thought leaders and influencers.
Avi was a founder of the EveryoneGenome project and campaigns for support and wider awareness of the need to improve genetic knowledge and health outcomes for people of African descent.
