Avi Lasarow is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor backing disruptive technologies with global impact, supporting founders with practical experience in execution and scale.

Having completed four years from selling DNAfit to Prenetics for $10 million through to exiting in 2022, Avi is looking forward to supporting ambitious founders and partners building disruptive technologies that solve meaningful problems at scale, across health, infrastructure and inclusion.

His insights for investment are summed up in three questions. First, does the company’s product solve a need Avi has personally experienced, or a problem he understands deeply through building and operating businesses?

Second, is there a founder product market fit, meaning does the team have real credibility in its market and the ability to execute at speed? And third, who are the other investors and partners, and do they have a strong track record in their own businesses or investments?

In 2023, Avi Lasarow invested in Floe Oral Care, reinforcing his commitment to innovative health and wellness solutions. Building on this momentum, in 2024, he made additional strategic investments in Sanius Health, Healthtech1, and a patent portfolio that has recently settled with major US-based technology players for breach of patent. This includes successful settlements with Samsung and Withings, with ongoing cases against Google and other prominent companies.

In 2025, Avi’s investment focus broadened beyond health. Together with one of his Honorary Consul peers, he was approached to help lead Finergi, an infrastructure fintech venture designed to accelerate financial inclusion across Africa. Avi became a shareholder, a founding member and Group CEO, working with partners and national stakeholders to support scalable rollout. Finergi turns utility meters into credit scores, converting real time consumption and payment behaviour into trusted affordability and risk signals that unlock inclusion at scale.

Avi’s investment approach focuses on disruptive technologies with the potential for significant global impact, and supporting founders with practical guidance rooted in execution, governance and commercial delivery.

Avi is FCA registered and also serves as a Senior Advisor to SPEX Capital, supporting the development of its $100m health and longevity investment strategy. This role reflects his ability to operate at institutional standards across governance, diligence and venture building.
