From appearing on the BBC’s Today Programme to writing for The Times, Avi is frequently invited to share his views on diagnostic testing, genetics and the future of preventative health.

Avi was a member of the Confederation of British Industry’s Health Council, which steered the CBI’s work promoting health as a major driver of wellbeing, productivity and prosperity, enhancing the competitiveness of the UK economy.

He also previously advised on UK Government and NHS health policy through his membership of NHS England Innovation’s Diagnostic Transformation Programme Industry Advisory Group, contributing practical insights on emerging needs, innovation pathways and the adoption of new technologies.

Avi has also been invited to give evidence at two UK Parliamentary Select Committees, reflecting his experience operating at the intersection of innovation, regulation and public policy.

In addition, Avi served as a Special Advisor to the B20 Digital Transformation Task Force during Africa’s first hosting of the global summit, contributing to discussions on digital transformation, inclusion and the future of essential infrastructure.

Avi features regularly across both traditional and digital media, using his platform to inform the public and stakeholders about innovation, the responsible use of new technologies, and their role in improving outcomes. Increasingly, his work also explores the intersection of infrastructure, access and inclusion through Finergi, reflecting a broader focus on how technology can strengthen essential services at scale.
